The Aztec warrior has a romantic and mysterious energy associated with it in popular culture. In this work I wanted to play off those feelings by creating a piece made of stainless steel eating utensils and sheet metal. The steel was heat treated to give it a more warm tone to it, while the brass and copper gave it a gold hue. In all, the main goal was to give it a sense of strength through elegance. The same thing that comes to mind of what an Aztec warrior symbolizes.
